Nicole Lola Banae Houston, MPH, CPH, LMT, HHC
Nicole Lola Banae Houston, owner and practitioner of LBL Holistic Health and Wellness, has been practicing holistic wellness for over 10 years. She has been practicing Zazen meditation and kundalini and Kemetic yoga since 2006 also teaching occasional amateur yoga classes. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Allied Health Sciences from Florida A&M University (2008), graduate studies and fellowship in Nutritional Sciences from Tuskegee University (2012), and a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of South Florida (2019). She graduated Core Institute for Massage Therapy (LMT) in Tallahassee, FL (2008).
Ms. Houston had also studied various forms of metaphysical energy work and Afro-Cuban spiritual traditions from multiple renowned mentors in the United States and Cuba. In 2017, she received her Holistic Health Coach Certificate (CHHC) from ISFTA and 2019 she received her Certification in Public Health (CPH). Ms. Houston has also been named cofounder and vice president of the National Integrative Wellness Collective (NIWC) which strives to reduce health and wellness disparities among communities of color across the nation (2020). To this day, Nicole continues to learn, grow and develop new skills within holistic health, traditional spirituality, and community wellness to best serve her lineage and surrounding areas.
